My name is Phyllis Becker and I’m a licensed Massage Therapist in New Mexico and the owner of Shanti Now Therapeutic Massage in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. I studied massage at the Institute of Professional Practical Therapy (IPPT), Los Angeles, California and the California Holistic Institute (CHI), San Luis Obispo, California.

From 2016 through 2022 I practiced massage along the Central Coast of California. In 2022 my husband and I relocated back to New Mexico after living in Las Cruces from 2004-2006. I’m a native Kansan and a lover of Coastal California having lived there over the past 20+ years.

I’ve had many professions, and it is the healing aspect of massage that calls my name. I am a healer...yet I am only a facilitator and instrument in the healing process, helping my clients relax so they can heal themselves. I bring a quiet, relaxed, nurturing presence doing my best to listen to you so we can achieve a positive outcome during our time together.

Subtle modalities that affect the body intrigue me. I am often astonished by how light a pressure is needed to facilitate tissue release, movement and elongation. I incorporate a lot of modalities into my work...some of which are: Swedish, Russian Medical, Myofacial Release, Lomi Lomi, Trigger Point, and Cranial Sacral Therapy. I’m happy to be here in Rio Rancho, New Mexico and look forward to meeting you.
